This bat is at Wapello School every year. It came a little early this year as usually it is not there until October. Usually it is laying up in the corner with its wings tucked under its body, do not think I have ever saw it like this before.

Marigolds
Marigolds are one of my favorite flowers. I love the smell of marigolds because it reminds me of my Grandma Mortenson. She always had marigolds in her garden. She would dry the marigolds and save the seed for next years planting. I took this picture in my garden. I edited it and came up with this photo.

Idaho Falls
Ron and I went on a date tonight to the Museum of Idaho Exhibit "Bodies". Very interesting to go to but I could not take a picture there as cameras are not allowed. After the museum we went on a walk by the river. It was a perfect evening for a walk. Here are two pictures I took as I could not decide what I liked better. Ron talked me into taking a picture of the water tower and I have to say I am glad I took the picture.

My Challenge
On the way home from Rexburg last night I was listening to a TED talk with Ron. The one we listen to was by Matt Cutts: Try something new for 30 days.
I thought that would be an exciting thing to do, a new challenge every 30 days. I told my daughter about it. She thought it was a good idea and that I should blog it. So here is my blog.
His first 30 day challenge was take a picture everyday for 30 days. I thought what a fun thing to. So I am starting my 30 day challenge to take a picture everyday. Then I am planning on doing a new challenge for another 30 days.
