I just finished crocheting this blessing outfit for my new grandson. A little over a month and I get to meet him.  I can not wait to see him in this outfit.

Quote

I saw the following quote on facebook yesterday.  "No amount of guilt can change the past and no amount of worrying can change the future"  Umar Ibn Al-Khattaab
I love this quote and I have hung in on my bathroom mirror so that I will always remember that.  Some-days I spend to much time thinking about if I would have only done this or that different.  Thinking about the what if's in life does not change anything so I need to stop doing that and remember that I can not change the past.  And worrying is never good for my health or stress levels.
So my goal is to focus on doing better each day, stop the worrying and the what if's and just focus on what I can control.  The only things/people I can control is me and my life.

Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

Check this recipe out for no bake macaroni and cheese.  It was easy to make and tasted yummy! Pamela just said next time to add more cheese.

Happy May!

April is over and that means I should have finished ready the book "Push". I have to admit I did not finish the book.  The reason I did not finish it was because I feel that this book is for some one just starting their health and fitness journey.  I have been working on my health and fitness journey since last June and I have a system down that is working for me. I would recommend the book to anyone who is just starting their fitness/health journey.
My goal for May is to finish the baby afghan that was started by Ron's Grandma Davies and given to me by Ron's mom to finish.

Done with one and on to the next.

I did my exercise and yoga most every day. I find when I exercise and do yoga I feel better and sleep better.
I wrote about one positive each day.  On the days when everything seemed to be going bad, I had to really look for a positive and finding three was even harder.  I found if I looked I usually found some things positive that happened in my day even if it was just seeing a bird which meant spring would come. I know my life is better when I focus on the positive instead of the negative. I think that is something I will always have to work on as it is easier to focus on the negative than the positive.  When I focus on the positive I feel better about myself and those around me and I am happier.
For April I am going to read a book that was given to me about two months ago. I am going to do each "push" that it has for the day.
